A Note from our Executive Director

Too many women live on the brink of financial disaster. Or they've never been taught how to manage their money in a manner that allows them to move from merely surviving to thriving. At The Women's Resource of Greater Houston, we believe a woman who controls her finances, controls her destiny. It is this belief that fuels our determination in realizing our mission - a financially stable future for every woman and girl in our community. As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we also embark on a new strategic plan that will expand both the reach and impact of our programs and services. Over the course of the next three years, we will invest in developing a new financial coaching model to support clients as they work toward self-defined financial goals. We will also roll out an extended (4-year) model of our Project LEAD program so we can establish a longer and deeper impact with the girls we serve.
Of course none of this is possible without your support. I invite you to take a minute to explore our new website and encourage you to get involved either as a volunteer, advocate, or donor!
